To State Senator Sarah Anthony. Re: Anti-Trans Bills
As you must know, two anti-trans measures have passed the House and have been referred to the Senate (H.B.4066, H.B.4469). Meanwhile the Senate has its own versions of these harmful measures ( S.B.0009, S.B.0230, S.B.0289, S.B.0290). I write to urge you to oppose these bigoted and harmful bills.
The Republicans are targeting the most vulnerable members of the Michigan community to divide us. It is time for us to stand up for the trans community and oppose their hate-filled measures.
